This ritual is an easy, affordable, and effective way to cleanse the energy of your space or home. Using the powerful cleansing properties of lemon and salt, this ritual will not only cleanse your space but will also fill your space with the refreshing and energizing scent of the lemon.
This is also a great way to cleanse your home without having to burn herbs or incense, it is my favorite smokeless cleansing ritual.
For this ritual you will need lemon and a cup of salt. Any type of salt will work for this ritual, I like to use sea salt or pink himalayan salt.
You can also include a white or black candle in your ritual for additional cleansing.
If you plan on doing this for more than one room or space in your home you will want to add more lemons and salt.
The first step is to take your cup of salt and the lemon. Place the lemon on a plate or on your altar and begin to cut it into slices. As you are cutting the lemon set the intention that the lemon will be cleansing your space. Once the lemon is cut you will add your salt on the lemon.
As you sprinkle the lemon with salt chant the following:
Cleanse this space and remove the past, negative energies will no longer last.
Fill this space with joy and love, with blessings sent from above.
Negative energies I banish thee, this is my word so mote it be!
